What syncs
The following data is pulled from each connected brokerage account. The exact fields available depend on what your broker’s API exposes — brokers vary in how much detail they share.- Holdings — the securities, ETFs, options, and other assets you own across your connected accounts
- Positions — quantity held, average cost basis, current market value, and unrealized gain or loss
- Cash balance — your available cash, including settled funds
- Realized P&L — closed-position gain and loss history, where your broker makes this data available
Sync frequency
Podium syncs your portfolio data automatically at regular intervals throughout the day. You do not need to do anything to keep your data current — as long as your brokerage connection remains authorized, Podium handles refreshes in the background. The sync cadence is designed to keep Ivy’s view of your portfolio current during market hours. During off-hours, syncs will be less frequent since account data changes less often.Sync status
You can check whether your portfolio data is current directly from the Accounts section in Settings.- Green indicator — the connection is active and your data is up to date
- Warning or error indicator — if Podium encounters a problem syncing your account, an alert will appear with guidance on next steps
