# Set Up Your Podium Markets Account

> Sign up for Podium Markets, verify your email, and log in to access Ivy — your personal AI trading assistant — and start researching in minutes.

This page walks you through everything you need to get into Podium Markets for the first time — from creating your account and verifying your email to logging in and connecting your brokerage. The whole process takes just a few minutes, and once you're in, Ivy will be ready to help you hit the ground running.

## Create your account

    Open [podiummarkets.ai](https://podiummarkets.ai) in your browser. Click the **Get Started** or **Sign Up** button on the homepage to begin the registration flow.

  <Step title="Enter your first name, email, and create a password">
    Type in your first name, email address, and choose a strong password. Make sure to use an email address you have access to — you'll need it for verification in the next step.

  <Step title="Verify your email address">
    Check your inbox for a verification email from Podium Markets. Click the confirmation link inside the email to activate your account. If you don't see it within a couple of minutes, check your spam or junk folder.

  <Step title="Log in at app.podiummarkets.ai/login">
    Once your email is verified, head to [app.podiummarkets.ai/login](https://app.podiummarkets.ai/login). Enter your email and password to access the platform and meet Ivy for the first time.

  <Step title="Start chatting with Ivy">
    Select the "Ivy" button in the upper right hand corner of the dashboard or type in a prompt and press send.

  <Step title="Connect your first brokerage">
    To unlock the full power of Ivy — including live portfolio analysis and trade execution — connect a brokerage account right after logging in. See [Connect a Brokerage](/brokerages/connecting-a-brokerage) for a step-by-step guide.

    Your risk profile helps us match you with trading strategies that fit your goals and comfort level. Answer a few quick questions about your investment experience, financial goals, and how you feel about market volatility. You can update your profile anytime as your circumstances change.

  Connect a brokerage account as soon as you sign up. Ivy becomes significantly more useful when it can see your real positions and risk profile — it tailors scans, research, and trade ideas to your actual portfolio.

## Logging back in

Once your account is set up, you can always return to the platform at [app.podiummarkets.ai/login](https://app.podiummarkets.ai/login). Enter your email and password to pick up right where you left off.

### Forgot your password?

If you can't remember your password, click **Forgot password?** on the login page. Enter your account email address and Podium Markets will send you a reset link. Click the link in the email, choose a new password, and log in as normal.
