# How to Secure Your Podium Markets Account Effectively

> Change your password, enable two-factor authentication, review active sessions, and protect your Podium Markets account from unauthorized access.

Keeping your Podium Markets account secure protects your trading data, watchlists, and personal information. The security settings in your account give you direct control over your password, two-factor authentication, and the devices that currently have access to your account. Visit **Settings → Security** in [app.podiummarkets.ai](https://app.podiummarkets.ai) to review and update these settings at any time.

## Changing your password

    Navigate to **Profile → Security** \*\*→ Password \*\*in the left-hand navigation of [app.podiummarkets.ai](https://app.podiummarkets.ai).

  <Step title="Start the password change">
    Click **Change Password** to open the password update form.

  <Step title="Enter your current password">
    Type your existing password in the **Current Password** field to verify your identity.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set your new password">
    Enter your new password in the **New Password** field, then re-enter it in **Confirm New Password**. Your password must be at least 12 characters and include a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols.

  <Step title="Save the change">
    Click **Update Password**. You will be prompted to log in again on all active sessions using your new credentials.

## Suspicious activity

If you notice logins you do not recognize, charges you did not authorize, or any other behavior that suggests your account may be compromised, act quickly.
